Your public IP
What websites can see about your device

Public IP is fetched from ipify.org over HTTPS. Everything else comes from your browser directly — it's what any site you visit can already see about your device.

01What it shows

What this tool shows

Public IP address

Your device's unique online identifier — IPv4 or IPv6.

Region hint

The country/city tied to your IP by public geolocation records (approximate).

Language & time zone

The locale your browser is reporting to sites you visit.

What sites can see

User agent, platform, screen size — the fingerprint any page can read.

Cookies status

Whether cookies are enabled for this browsing session.

02How to use it

How to use it in 3 steps

1

Open the tool

No input needed — the widget loads your details automatically.

2

Read the IP

The IPv4 or IPv6 address appears at the top; a copy button is right there.

3

Refresh anytime

Toggle your VPN and hit refresh to confirm your IP changed.

03Why use it

Why check your IP

Troubleshoot connectivity

Share your IP with support instead of describing your setup.

Verify VPN / proxy

Confirm your real IP is masked when you're connected to a VPN.

Security

Spot unusual location or ISP tied to your current session.

Access & setup

Provide your IP for allowlisting or firewall exceptions.

04How it works

How it works

When you load the page, the tool fetches your public IP from a lightweight IP-echo endpoint (ipify.org over HTTPS). Everything else — browser, platform, screen, language, time zone — comes straight from your browser, so you're seeing exactly what any website can already read about you.

No account, no logging on our side

We don't record your IP or details. The upstream lookup is a single HTTPS request that returns your IP and nothing else.

05Who uses it

Who uses it

Remote workers

Share your IP for allowlisting company resources.

VPN users

Confirm your VPN is actually hiding your real IP.

IT support

Diagnose network issues with the caller's exact address.

Businesses

Grab site-of-origin IPs for security policies.

06Accuracy

Accuracy & good-to-know

IP-based location is approximate (city or region level), never a precise address. A VPN or proxy shows the server's IP instead of yours — which is exactly how you confirm it's working. If your carrier uses CGNAT, several devices may share the same public IP.
