Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

This policy governs how you may use My Country Mobile's communications services and sets out prohibited conduct and enforcement rights.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the My Country Mobile communications services ("Service") provided by My Country Mobile Pte Ltd ("MCM," "we," "us"). It applies to every customer, account holder, reseller, and end user.

By using the Service you agree to this AUP. We may update it at any time; continued use means acceptance. Violation may result in suspension or termination without notice and may be reported to authorities.

2. Lawful Use Only

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, CAN-SPAM, FCC rules, STIR/SHAKEN and robocall-mitigation requirements, and the equivalent laws of any country where you or your end users operate.

3. Prohibited Calling and Messaging

You must not use the Service to:

  • Make unlawful robocalls or send unlawful autodialed or prerecorded calls or texts.
  • Transmit calls or messages with false, spoofed, or misleading caller ID or origination information.
  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or traffic that violates 10DLC/A2P or carrier rules.
  • Conduct fraud, including traffic pumping, international revenue share fraud (IRSF), Wangiri, phishing, vishing, or smishing.
  • Contact numbers on any applicable Do-Not-Call registry without a lawful basis.
  • Originate traffic you are not authorized to originate.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

No use of the Service to transmit, store, or distribute:

  • Illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene content.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; reported immediately to authorities and NCMEC.
  • Malware, or content infringing others' intellectual property or privacy.
  • Protected Health Information (PHI). MCM is not a regulated Business Associate and does not sign Business Associate Agreements. Do not use the Service to transmit or store PHI.

5. Network and Security

No attempts to breach, overload, or interfere with the Service or others' use of it; no unauthorized access, port scanning, or circumvention of usage limits or security controls.

6. Emergency Services (E911) — Important Limitations

⚠️ Where the Service supports emergency calling, VoIP emergency calling works differently from traditional phone service. Please read these limitations carefully.

You acknowledge that:

  • E911 may not function during a power, internet, or Service outage.
  • E911 routing depends on the registered service address you provide and keep current — you must update it whenever the device's location changes.
  • E911 may not be available on all devices, softphones, number types, or while roaming.
  • You must notify all end users of these limitations.

You are responsible for alternative means to reach emergency services where E911 is unavailable.

7. Fair Use of “Unlimited” Plans

Any plan described as "unlimited" is for normal business use and is subject to fair-use limits to prevent abuse (for example, traffic pumping, unauthorized reselling, or continuous auto-dialing).

8. Suspension and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, block traffic, or remove content. We may disclose information to law enforcement as required, and we cooperate with carrier and FCC traceback requests.

9. Reporting Abuse

Report suspected violations to abuse@mycountrymobile.com.
